RICHARD LIOTTA | Managing Partner
Richard Liotta is the global managing partner of The Software Consulting Group Inc. He is based in Toronto and functions with his work in strategy, analysis, and operations.
Richard started SCG in Toronto in 2015. He started working with clients in Canada and expanded to the US and Europe where he works with customers ranging from the Fortune 50 to Universities and Colleges, Financial Institutions, and clients across a wide array of industries.
Previous to founding SCG, Richard spend 20 years in the software industry in leadership positions at Oracle, SAP, and IBM.
He has been involved in research efforts on global software asset management business trends, software procurement, negotiation and cost containment strategies.
Richard is involved in charitable and professional causes from youth sports to mentoring programs for business students.
He holds a degree in Economics with honours from Queen’s University in Kingston.
FRANCIS (FRED) GARIEPY | CFO
Fred is a professional accountant and accomplished entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in accounting, finance, management, risk mitigation and business development. He has worked across industries from start-ups to multi-nationals and has held executive level positions at companies such as Noranda-Rio-Tinto Group, Abitibi-Bowater, Atradius Credit Insurance NV and Pepsi Montreal. He has also co-founded two educational software companies and served as interim CFO for a TSX listed technology firm. He is committed to helping CFOs navigate the complexities of software licensing to lower their risk and costs.
LISA WRIGHT | Director, Enterprise Software Services
Lisa is a 17-year Oracle software industry veteran, specializing in Oracle license resell and consulting sales. Before joining SCG, Lisa worked for Oracle Partners delivering tens of millions in Oracle license sales. She also spent two years in the independent license advisory business committed to helping struggling clients, facing multi-million-dollar compliance issues, understand the complexities of Oracle licensing. Lisa brings years of experience negotiating Oracle contracts and helping clients interpret Oracle business practices to gain control of their software assets.
